Do you shop in charity shops and what bargains have you had?
In the town where I live Age Concern has a acharity shop where everything is sold for £1. To date I've had many bargains. M&S, Next, Gerry Weber to name a few. I also donate stuff I've finished with just to even things up and do my bit of recycling!!! Does anyone else do this?

- Absolutely. I have been doing it for a number of years. I used them a lot when I was reducing in size after having gastric-bypass surgery. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on clothes that I knew I would only wear for a short period as I reducing in size. I have bought a Lands End heavy, down filled coat that sold for ~$160 in their catalog for $15. I bought a dress that had the price tag on it from a local clothing store that was priced at $90 for $15.00.
- Name brand ladies suits from $5.00, they were from Dress Barn and Oscar de la Renta dresses for $5.00, they still had orginal tags on them. Kitchen appliances that were new in boxes for $1-2.00, an electric hair setter new in box for $1.99
